It was good to see a few more quizmsters sending info to the site, for me over here to be able to filter & pull out anything which is not totaly UK based helps.

Hi Gordon Just like you I do a quiz that is meant to be fun and not to be taken too seriously we normally have five or six teams of 4 or 5 people but in the summer (being a seaside town) we get the odd group of visitors who can make it up to 7 or 8 teams
Anyway the other night the good lady was at a darts presentation night and I had a walk for a pint and called into a pub near home that I never use and lo and behold they were having a quiz night the venue is smaller than the place I work from and blow me they had 8 teams all crammed in and the quiz was 50 (FIFTY) questions on Pirates (As in robbery on the high seas) I (on my own) scored 19 the winning team scored 47 and the joint 2nd and 3rd both got 45 now here comes the best bit there were only 2 prizes 1st team got 2 yes 2 pints and the second got 1 pint but as there were 2 winners they got half a pint each I must be doing something wrong somewhere
